Artist Statement

Blacksmithing came from a time when hand craftsmanship was all there was. Metal, Stone and Glass workers helped to improve our quality of life. I try to honor that history when creating “one of a kind” pieces of jewelry.

Experimenting and learning as tools and materials develop has allowed me to combine metal, glass and stone in my work. Casting and forging metals, cold working or hot sculpturing of glass, faceting gemstones or shaping and polishing semi-precious stones are often combined in a finished piece.

My desire is to create jewelry that will last a lifetime and give the owner a sense of well-being, wearing something they will enjoy. We like to think of our jewelry as Wearable Art.

Artistic Style

Blending ancient blacksmithing techniques with modern materials, this artist creates distinctive, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces that honor the rich tradition of hand craftsmanship. By integrating metal, glass, and stone through methods like casting, forging, cold working, and hot sculpturing, the work bridges historical craftsmanship with contemporary artistry.
Each piece, carefully fashioned from faceted gemstones, semi-precious stones, and sculpted glass, is designed not just as jewelry, but as a statement of enduring beauty and personal significance. This fusion of techniques and materials results in unique, timeless creations that offer both aesthetic pleasure and a lasting sense of well-being to their wearers.
