Artist Statement
“An old guy that had 4 pottery lessons in high school, searching for a retirement hobby.”
After taking a few refresher lessons from another old guy, Ray Richardson, Brent joined the N Delta Potters Guild in 2019.
He found his niche in hand building, creating intricate sculptures. These creations constantly challenge his abilities & the clays.

To explore and push the limits of creating both functional and non-functional items in clay. How do we create an item, an image, or a memory using only clay as a medium with all of its restraints?
